What We Do
The Love from Margot Foundation gives financial, medical, and spiritual support to low-income and under-insured women who have been diagnosed with a woman’s cancer in the San Francisco Bay Area and whom are struggling to make ends meet while undergoing treatment or are on the road to recovery.
Our goal is to help our clients overcome the challenges that arise after diagnosis and meanwhile maintain an acceptable standard of living for themselves and their family. We hope that by relieving some of the financial stress, our clients will be able to find more peace within their struggle and allow them the space to heal and focus on loving and being loved by their family and friends.
We ask that you fill out a grant application, get it to us and we’ll go from there.
The Love From Margot Foundation is a 501(c)3. Listed below are our exemption status and tax returns.

“Someone then told me about Love From Margot. I went to the website and knew IMMEDIATELY that this foundation was different. I could just feel the love pouring through the monitor screen! After I contacted them, I was amazed and relieved at the process and was deeply, deeply grateful that it seemed that someone on the other end of the line not only understood what I was going through, but expressed genuine compassion, understanding, and caring. I simply could not have survived this past year without this financial help.”
“Love From Margot Foundation has eased my mind. Stressing about financial issues just makes the pain worse and studies have shown that stress often enhanced the process of cancer growth. I am now able to enjoy life more abundant and not worry about penny pinching, I am now more assured that I am getting the best quality care and can still laugh and play with my children. Margot must have been an amazing woman, so compassionate about helping others; I wish I could give her a big hug and thank her for sending me love through this foundation.”
