Tina

Tina found out about the Love from Margot Foundation through her social worker just after finishing her radiation treatment. Tina was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of 2012 and went on disability soon thereafter requiring all three family members – Tina, her husband, and her son – to rely on her husbands private health insurance. The premiums shot through the roof, especially since her son suffers from a seizure disorder that requires monthly expensive medications. Tina and her husband are now worried they will lose their home as they try to juggle their rising health care costs. The Love from Margot Foundation has agreed to cover their monthly insurance premium for a couple months as Tina resumes work.
