Kelly is a 53 year old woman living in Oakland, CA. Kelly has suffered through multiple diagnosis’, ranging from kidney to liver cancer. Throughout her diagnosis’ she has undergone multiple treatments and experienced tremendous side affects. Her most recent diagnosis happened in 2013, shortly before she reached out to the Love from Margot Foundation. Kelly has struggled emotionally, mentally and especially financially throughout it all, with minimal to no support from her family. She came to the Love from Margot foundation because (in Kelly’s words): “You already know the devastation of cancer and its catastrophic effects on patients and family.”

The Love from Margot Foundation was able to provide Kelly with a financial grant to help her secure reliable transportation and catch her up on her rent payments.
