2014

Esperanza is a 46-year-old woman living with her husband and two daughters, who are 18 and 12. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in May of 2013. During her treatment she had a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. There were a few medications she had to suddenly stop because her medical wouldn’t cover the rest. Esperanza reached out to the Love from Margot Foundation because she had been approved for a reconstruction. Upon having her breast removed she expressed to us how much it had plummeted her self esteem. Being able to have this reconstruction meant so much to her. Fortunately the Love from Margot Foundation was able to provide her with a financial grant which she was able to put towards her reconstructive surgery.
