Deborah

In the fall of 2012 Deborah came to the Love from Margot Foundation with Stage 4 pulmonary metastatic disease and was searching for a home. She had been dealing with this illness for 4 years, but the grace & courage she exudes would lead you to believe that there was no medical condition to worry about. Deborah and her family have traveled a long road of setbacks and tragedies, and in the midst of her daily pains and struggles she worries about the impact her health is having on her adult children. We have visited Deborah at her home with our partner, The Living/Dying Project, to better understand the emotional needs not only of Deborah but also of her family. Currently, the foundation has paid $2,000 to help Deborah and the support is ongoing.
